The price changes take effect from 1 October 2026

  • All pricing is in NZD and excludes GST
  • The details of this price change relate to subscribers on Xero Ignite, Grow, Comprehensive and Ultimate plans in New Zealand only
  • The price of any optional Xero add-ons will not change, except for Ultimate payroll overage pricing (see below)
  • To find out what pricing plan you're on, head to Subscription in your Xero account and check the 'Subscription' column
  • Pricing is subject to change at any time, on notice to you, as per Xero's terms of use.

Payroll overage pricing is increasing on Ultimate

If you use Xero Payroll for more than 10 employees on your Ultimate plan, the price for each additional employee will increase from NZ$1 to NZ$2 per employee per month (excluding GST).

Discounts and promo codes will continue to be honoured, but multi-organisation discount removed.

If you have a current Xero discount or promo code, it will still apply to the new pricing until the discount or code expires. However, please note that from 1 October 2026, the multi-organisation discount will begin to be phased out and will no longer be applied to eligible subscriptions.

The price changes take effect for new and existing New Zealand subscribers from 1 October 2026 and will show on invoices from this date onwards.
