2018 reform of EU data protection rules

No doubt, your inbox is brimming with GDPR related emails.

privacy keyboard-616Whilst the legislation came into effect last week, the conversation continues.

If you want to understand what all the fuss is about, or how others have been preparing themselves, then do take some time to visit the European Commission's website which covers a range of topics including rules for businesses and organisations, plus right for citizens.

Stronger rules on data protection mean people have more control over their personal data and businesses benefit from a level playing field. In the EU at least for now.

We look forward to watching with interest, and seeing what impact GDPR may have on New Zealand in the future.
