Employer and GST debt older than 12 months
In October, NZ Inland Revenue shared their focus on collecting overdue debt and returns, particularly GST and employer debt through a targeted campaign and direct marketing.
You may start to notice NZ Inland Revenue's Community Compliance team out in the community from late November through to mid-December.
They've widened their targeted campaign to include taxpayers with debt older than 12 months.
These taxpayers may also have been part of NZ Inland Revenue's recent direct marketing campaign and may have received an email or letter about this.
