What does this mean for Alliott NZ clients?

New Zealand businesses operating across borders rely on good advice that connects across markets. A new Australasian appointment within Alliott Global Alliance is helping strengthen those connections across the Asia Pacific region.

Melbourne accountant Alex Vrahos, Partner at Baumgartners, has joined Alliott Global Alliance’s Asia Pacific Regional Advisory Committee, representing Australasia for a three-year term.

Alex advises privately held businesses on tax, business strategy and complex corporate structures, including organisations with multinational operations. His appointment brings additional hands-on Australasian business experience to a regional group connecting accounting and legal firms across 20 Asia Pacific markets.

For New Zealand businesses with international interests, strong relationships between advisers in different countries can make cross-border business simpler.

Through Alliott NZ’s international connections, clients can access local accounting, tax, audit and legal expertise when expanding overseas, entering new markets, managing international structures or dealing with cross-border compliance.

With Australia and the wider Asia Pacific region important markets for many New Zealand businesses, stronger collaboration between advisers across the region means easier access to local knowledge when and where it is needed.
