Xero Assistance Programme extends to all small businesses in Auckland, Northland, Waikato
Free mental health support for all Northland, Auckland and Waikato small business owners.
From Wednesday 1 February through to Friday 31 March 2023, any small business owner, employee or their families in Auckland, Northland and Waikato regions can access confidential and free telephone, live chat, online or face-to-face counselling sessions.
The impact of the recent harsh weather has forced many small businesses to close, while others are dealing with ongoing issues due to flooding.
Unexpected events like flooding and extreme weather can cause anxiety and stress and Xero wants to support all Kiwi small businesses through this difficult time.
Not only are they dealing with the fallout of the recent weather, but for many, this is compounded by the current economic climate, which is already weighing heavy on their minds.
All Xero users across Aotearoa, along with their staff and families, are already eligible for free and confidential professional counselling through XAP – equating to more than one million Kiwis throughout the country.
The importance of looking after your well-being shouldn’t be understated, and taking proactive steps to protect yourself, your employees and families should be seen as a strength.
We hope anyone in need of a service like XAP reaches out to get the help and support they need to look after themselves and get through these challenging times.
To access, Xero users simply need to message firstname.lastname@example.org with the name of their business, or follow the instructions here.
