Newmarket Business Awards 2022 Finalists announced

Alliott NZ has been shortlisted as a Best Small/Medium Business of the Year (Non-Retail) Finalist in this year’s Newmarket Business Awards.

Director Greg Millar said, “In a line-up of excellent local businesses, we are extremely proud to be included as a finalist. We would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge our whole team — we couldn’t have done it without you!”

The Best Small/Medium Business award recognises excellence for the best small to medium non-retail business with fewer than 20 full-time employees.

“Alliott NZ Ltd is a NZ Top 30 accounting firm with a diverse team of globally-minded Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers who are passionate about helping NZ businesses grow and succeed, so it’s tremendous recognition to be named a finalist,” said Director Vanessa Williams.

The finalist list announced on 30 May features nearly 50 high-achieving local businesses across 12 submission-based categories.

“Congratulations to our client, AML HUB, for also being a finalist in our category,” Vanessa added.

Newmarket Business Association Chief Executive Mark Knoff-Thomas said, “We know that the past year has been extremely challenging. The quality of the entries was simply outstanding — and from such a diverse range of businesses across the Newmarket precinct.”

Newmarket is roaring back into life after a bumpy couple of years.

“The high calibre of entries this year is confirmation, once again, that we have some of the best of the best in business. In some categories we had over 20 entries — it was a tough gig for the judges. It is always a superb celebration, and a night for Newmarket to stand proud,” he added.

The 2022 awards look to be the most competitive in the awards 10 year history. The category winners, as well as the People’s Choice, Newmarket Legend Award and the Supreme Winner, will be announced at the awards evening to be held at Cordis on Friday 1 July 2022. The awards are proudly sponsored by humm.
