Alert Level 3 Auckland extension announced

On Monday Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern announced the extension of Alert Level 3 in Auckland to 11.59pm on Sunday 30th August 2020.


nimbus technology computer-security2Auckland will then drop down to Alert Level 2. The rest of the country remains at Alert Level 2. Other changes announced include: 
 
  • From Monday 31 August, those using public transport, planes and rideshare services anywhere in the country will be required to wear masks by law while at alert Level 2 or higher.
  • When Auckland moves to Level 2, gatherings will be restricted to 10 people, except for funerals where the cap will be 50.
  • Gatherings will remain restricted to 100 people throughout the rest of the country.
