Before joining Alliott NZ in 1996 Vanessa was a manager at Deloitte’s in Auckland and New York.
In 1999, she became partner before taking on the role of Alliott NZ Director in 2000 along with Greg Millar.
Vanessa heads the other Business Services division at Alliott’s as well as leading the audit and insolvency division of the firm.
Her extensive accountancy and experience in corporate sector allows her to tailor ideas and strategies gained from larger companies to suit small and medium businesses.
Vanessa and her team work with clients from a variety of industries including retail (and in particular supermarkets), IT, property and manufacturing.
Vanessa is passionate about the success and growth of her clients and believes strongly in educating business owners on how to use financial information to achieve success. She is a strong advocate of providing value added services to her clients such as improving sales growth, profit and cash flow as well as succession planning.
She maintains strong client relationships and enjoys taking on a mentoring role for many of them.
